Investment Folder

This folder is used to enter the initial capital investment and any subsequent capital investments such as a future expansion of the building or building renovations. It is also used to select whether or not to claim Depreciation, and to choose Active or Passive Investor status and the appropriate Loss Limitation amount.
If you elect to claim Depreciation, the capital investments are broken down between land, building, furniture and equipment etc. A Recovery Period and First Year Convention is specified for each Depreciation class, such as the building, furniture and equipment etc.
